The Abundance Mindset

Lately, I have been thinking about the energy of money, how I have spent it, how I have nurtured it, received and given it away. How we feel about money, is also a relationship...our relationship with money.

I´ve come to realize that despite working on such energy and that "abundance" energy for quite some time...I didn´t have yet a good relationship with money.

I only saw it as the numbers in my bank account, what I spend on food, rent, etcs...as numbers, with a measure of love and resistance at the same time. How can I love and resist something at the same time?

It´s like saying you trust somebody but always fearing betrayal. It´s incompatible. Yet, we as humans are so contradictory. 

How can money truly love me...when I´m always on my guard?

So, one day, I realized I love where I live, I´m so lucky I trusted my intuition at one point to get me here. I looked around my home and thought, wow, I love my house, it´s so me, so spacious and calm. I stopped, took a deep breath and realized, I have everything I needed, nothing was missing, I wasn´t feeling lack. 

That feeling of scarcity is very tricky, very mischievous. It creeps on every crack in your consciousness, inside your mind, your belief system...until it´s reflected in your very reality, in the way you look at things, how you feel about them, the way you experience the world around you.

If you´re not paying enough attention, it trips you up. Therefore, it´s important to pay attention, to stay present. And when that voice of lack talks to you, you can look at it, straight in the eye and tell it...not today, today I´m good, today, I´m abundant, today, I have everything I once dreamed of and more. 

Perhaps, money is not the culprit, but the way we look at it and we relate to it. After all, money truly has the energy and meaning we give to it. If I were to call it my friend...I would have to admit, I haven´t been a good one. And like any relationship, in order for it to work, there needs to be a balance, a reciprocity. 

Today, I challenge you to look around you and try, really give it a try to be aware of all the abundance you have created and are sustaining already.
