9: This Year´s Numerology

2025 is a number 9 year: 2+2+5.

In numerology, the number 9 represents completion, endings, reflection, and spirituality. For me, the energy of this year, related to the 9, means it is a year to tie loose ends from last year or many years ago. A cycle, a chapter of our lives, is closing, and we are learning (or not) the lessons from these past nine years.

In the same way, I relate it to the Hermit, from the tarot. The Hermit, a spiritual figure who goes into the forest with his own light in hand to light up his path. It means that it´s time to look within for the answers we are so eagerly looking for. It means to find those moments of peace and go within and connect to a deeper truth. To recognize that we have the light to light our own path. The answers are not outside but inside ourselves.

It's not an easy task; we have been taught to look outside for validation, for approval...for the truth. Truth is, each one of us is on our own individual and unique path. My truth doesn´t need to be your truth. Therefore, the Hermit ventures into the forest of his unconscious mind to make it conscious. He goes within to bring to light what he needs to understand.

The year of the Hermit, number 9...also resonates with Sagittarius in astrology. Sagittarius aims his arrow toward the sky, a half-man (or woman), half-horse creature with wild dreams and unbreakable faith. Much like a child who has still wonder in their eyes.

As I see it, this year is for learning deeper truths about ourselves that are going to take us further on the road. We may travel far to find out who we truly are. We may find a new faith or spiritual path that aligns better with ourselves. We may decide to finally believe in our dreams, and therefore ourselves, to shoot us in the next chapter of our lives. It is a year of transition between the last 9-year cycle and the next one that´s coming.

Finding your true self shouldn´t be such a big task. It´s with yourself that you will spend the rest of your life. From the very beginning to the very end...why not become what you truly set out to be?.

It´s in the silence our soul whispers, and we can hear the beating of our hearts.
